Carnes Company is looking for a candidate to fill the position:

Manufacturing Engineer - Located in Verona, WI

Carnes is a leading manufacturer of commercial and industrial air moving and conditioning equipment including fans, humidifiers, energy recovery ventilators, and much more. We are looking for a capable engineer to help us improve our products and manufacturing processes. Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas that could benefit from changes
  • Apply working knowledge of product design and assembly to the manufacturing process
  • Create/update processes and procedures to help the company meet budgetary, performance, and efficiency goals
  • Design and develop new products alongside the Product Engineering team
  • Communicate effectively with production, supervisors, design teams, and sales staff to ensure alignment with company goals
  • Devise new solutions to existing manufacturing problems
  • Apply lean manufacturing tools and techniques
  • Specify new machines and tooling to improve processes
  • Successfully implement cost saving projects
  • Determine and correct root causes of defects and failures
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience with CAD programs a plus
  • Experience with metal fabrication a plus
