Carnes Company is looking for a candidate to fill the position:

Accounting Assistant - Located in Verona, WI

The Carnes Company is looking for an individual to fill a full-time Accounting Assistant opening. This position will be responsible for:

  • Posting cash on a daily basis
  • Assigning customer numbers and sales tax information to orders
  • Entering new customers into Frontier computer system
  • Contacting customers for payment of invoices
  • Assisting Controller with month-end close
  • Entering daily receipts of material from vendors into Frontier
  • Being able to enter basic purchase orders as set up by the Purchasing Manager
  • Filing monthly sales tax reports

Must be detail oriented, have experience in Microsoft products and have good communication skills. Associates Degree in Accounting and 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting required.
